UL Listed Draper Products

The gold standard for proving product safety in the construction industry.

What is UL Listing?

According to the UL website, “UL Listing means that UL has tested representative samples of a product and determined that the product meets specific, defined requirements. These requirements are often based on UL’s published and nationally recognized Standards for Safety.”

Thanks to UL’s continual monitoring process, when you see the UL Listed label you can be confident in the safety and quality of our complete products.

Why does Draper seek UL Listing?

Product quality and safety have always been important to Draper. We have a dedicated quality department that is always proactively seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes. Despite our industry reputation for manufacturing innovative, safe, and sound solutions, however, in more and more U.S. markets local inspectors are asking for all products on projects to be UL Listed. It can be a complicated process to get products approved without UL Listing. We decided to pursue listing to make it easier for our dealers and installers to provide local authorities with the assurances they seek. These products will now carry the UL label, which immediately answers any questions about fire and shock hazard safety that an inspector might ask.

Several Draper products have achieved UL Listing for the entire unit–not just individual components. These are listed below.
