Bottom-Up FlexShade Recharge

Bottom-Up FlexShade Recharge delivers quiet, wire-free motorized control with a built-in battery to reduce glare, boost daylight, and improve comfort.

Bottom-Up FlexShade Recharge provides quiet motorized control in a wire-free design that installs easily, even in hard-to-reach locations. Its integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery removes the need for a battery wand, creating a clean, uncluttered appearance. Rising from a sill-mounted roller, it blocks low-angle sunlight to reduce glare and heat while preserving natural daylight above. The result is improved comfort, balanced illumination, and energy efficiency in commercial spaces.
 

Product Specs

  • Available in widths up to 12′ (366 cm), depending on fabric selection.
  • Eco-friendly design with internal Lithium-ion battery—no wand or disposable batteries. Charges via standard 110V outlet.
  • Intelligent hub and app control available for centralized shade management.
  • Mounting brackets included. Optional fascia with endcaps.
  • Hem bar is extruded aluminum finish to match fascia.
  • Hardware finish choices: clear anodized (standard), black, white, ivory, or bronze. Custom powder coat colors available.
  • Choose from fabric colors, textures, and opacities — or customize with graphics, patterns, or color matching.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
