FlexShade ST30 DC

FlexShade ST30 DC delivers scalable low-voltage shade control for commercial spaces, engineered for seamless integration and reliable performance.

The FlexShade ST30 DC motorized shade system delivers versatile control for commercial and residential applications. Designed for efficient low-voltage installation, it is available in 24V RTS, 24V dry contact, and 24V 485 platforms to support a range of integration needs. The 24V RTS motor enables wireless control and straightforward programming, ideal for retrofit or smaller-scale applications. The 24V 485 motor supports scalable automation with seamless building management system integration. The 24V dry contact motor provides reliable relay-based control for AV-driven environments such as conference rooms and theaters.
 

Product Specs

  • CHILD SAFETY NOTICE: This product complies with ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022-Child Safety Standard and has been Certified Best for Kids™ by the Window Covering Safety Council.
  • Available in sizes 18-3/16" to 108" (462 mm to 2743 mm) wide, depending on motor and fabric selection.
  • Quiet 24V motor. Follow accepted low-voltage wiring practices.
  • Available in standard dry contact, radio frequency (RTS), and 485 platform technologies. The 24V 485 motor supports scalable control for large commercial buildings.
  • Plug-and-play transformer option available.
  • Surface-mount hardware options include standard brackets, fascia with endcaps, or headbox with closure.
  • Recess-mount hardware options include pocket headbox or Pocket D headbox with tile lip. Wall clip and closure options available for existing pockets.
  • Hardware finish options: clear anodized (standard), black, white, ivory, or charcoal bronze. Custom powder coat colors available.
  • Dual roller options roller options available with fascia or pocket headbox configurations.
  • Compatible with "U", "H", and "L" channels for light-gap reduction.
  • Choose from a wide range of fabric colors, textures, and opacities — or customize with graphics, patterns, or custom color matching.
  • Designed for interior use.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
