FlexStyle Battery

FlexStyle Battery open roll shade delivers refined design without hardwiring, with decorative brackets and rechargeable power.

FlexStyle Battery open roll shade adds a touch of luxury without the hassle of hardwiring. Stylish mounting brackets conceal fasteners and are available in nine designer colors and finishes. Choose between a rechargeable motor with an integrated lithium-ion battery or an external rechargeable battery wand. FlexStyle Battery also supports narrower shade widths not typically available with standard rechargeable shades.
 

Product Specs

  • CHILD SAFETY NOTICE: This product complies with ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022-Child Safety Standard and has been Certified Best for Kids™ by the Window Covering Safety Council.
  • Open roll shade available in single roller configuration.
  • Maximum bundle diameter is 2-¾” (70 mm).
  • Minimum shade width is 2' (610 mm).
  • Maximum shade width is 8' (244 cm) or wider depending on fabric choice.
  • Shade available with either a rechargeable motor or a rechargeable external battery wand; both include a built-in lithium-ion battery.
  • Easily programmable using Somfy RTS (Radio Technology Somfy) controls.
  • Multi-Shade Capability: Shade can be coupled to operate up to three shades with one motor for streamlined installation and cost efficiency.
  • Cast aluminum brackets available in nine designer colors and finishes. Plated: brushed nickel, brushed gold, antique bronze, chrome. Painted: taupe, grey, black, white, warm white. Primer grey is paint-ready.
  • Choose from fabric colors, textures, and opacities — or customize with graphics, patterns, or color matching.
  • Designed for interior use; can be wall- or ceiling-mounted. For installation inside or outside the window frame, contact Draper for details.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
