1 Motor Controller

The 1 Motor Controller delivers reliable AC motor control with RS-485 communication and easy integration for IntelliFlex I/O shade systems.

The IntelliFlex I/O 1 Motor Controller is a single AC motor controller with robust RS-485 communication, designed for use within the IntelliFlex I/O smart motor control system. It includes built-in network termination and onboard buttons for testing and motor configuration. Pluggable terminal blocks simplify wiring, and onboard contact closure terminals provide local control. Flexible programming options allow the motor port to operate independently even when networked. Fully integrated, the IntelliFlex I/O system with the 1MC supports all peripherals in the I/O line. Installers no longer need a computer to program motors or assign groups.

  • Dimensions: 2-3/4” x 3-1/2” x 2-1/8” (70 mm x 89 mm x 54 mm). Enclosure: 6" x 6" x 4" (152 mm x 152 mm x 102 mm).
  • Packaged in a metal enclosure ready for installation.
  • Configurable to respond to wall switches, RF remotes, and signals from third-party systems.
  • Compatible with motorized roller shades, Venetian blinds, and louver systems.
  • Input power: 110-230VAC @ 50 / 60Hz.
  • Output power: Maximum 4A @ input Voltage.
  • Operating temperature: 32–140°F (0–60°C).
  • Network bus: RS-485.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
