Digitally Printed FlexShade

Digitally Printed FlexShade provides high resolution, large format digital printing on window shades for branding, graphics, and visual communication.

Digitally Printed FlexShade transforms window shades into large format visual elements for branding, graphics, and architectural messaging. High resolution digital printing delivers sharp image detail and vibrant CMYK color on motorized, manual, or fixed shade systems. Applications include trade shows, museums, sports facilities, exhibits, corporate interiors, and other commercial environments. Digitally printed shades also provide a creative solution for spaces with signage restrictions, integrating messaging directly into the built environment while maintaining design intent. In house printing supports consistent quality, efficient production, and reliable lead times.
 

Product Specs

  • Available with any Draper shade model, including motorized, manual, and fixed systems.
  • High‑resolution digital printing with CMYK inks for sharp detail and vibrant color reproduction.
  • Maximum width up to 120 in. (304.8 cm).
  • Printable fabrics required for optimal color accuracy.
  • Water‑based latex inks are UL ECOLOGO and GREENGUARD GOLD certified, with no off‑gassing.
  • Custom graphics and logos printed from customer‑supplied artwork; refer to artwork specifications.
  • Graphics may be printed on either the room‑facing or exterior‑facing side of the shade.
  • Contact your Draper representative for fabric options and application restrictions.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
