1, 5, or 16 Channel RTS Handheld Transmitters

1, 5, or 16 Channel RTS Handheld Transmitter enables centralized shade control with flexible 1-, 5-, or 16-channel options for motorized applications.

Provide centralized control of motorized window shades individually or as groups with the 1, 5, or 16 Channel RTS Handheld Transmitter. Each remote supports up to 16 channels, with one motorized product or group assigned per channel. The dedicated “my” button allows quick access to a favorite position for any motorized application or group. The 16-channel model features an intuitive on-screen display that simplifies programming and navigation, including the ability to assign names, icons, and channel numbers.

  • 1 or 5 Channel available in iron, natural, or arctic finishes.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
