Sonesse Ultra 504 RS485 (24V DC)

Sonesse Ultra 504 RS485 (24V DC) delivers quiet, intelligent low-voltage shade control with SDN and Animeo IP integration.

The Sonesse Ultra 504 RS485 (24V DC) is a low-voltage square head motor designed for intelligent shade automation. It supports control and monitoring through Somfy Digital Network (SDN) solutions and Animeo IP total solar management systems. This motor delivers reduced operational noise and ships with a single cable that includes both power and data. It cannot be parallel wired and requires a transformer or power panel for operation.

  • Speed: 10–25 rpm (adjustable).
  • Sound Level: ≤ 38 dBA.
  • Index Protection Rating: IP20 (interior).

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
