The Manual Basketball Winch is for backstops with attachment heights under 26’ (7.92 m) and may be operated with a removable handle or optional electric portable operator. It features a maintenance-free sealed gear case with a 40:1 worm gear ratio to provide 1,000 lb (454 kg) vertical lifting capacity. Cable drum has a 4" (102 mm) diameter and is grooved for 1/4" (6 mm), 7 x 19 aircraft cable to provide proper spooling. It is enclosed by a removable cover.
