SDN Data Panel

SDN Data Panel expands Somfy Digital Network systems with four isolated bus segments supporting large-scale device connectivity.

The SDN Data Panel expands a Somfy Digital Network system with four isolated bus segments. Each segment supports up to 255 devices and 4000' of total wiring. The panel includes a built-in SDN DecoFlex keypad for local control and a DIN rail for mounting animeo controllers. It supports both in-wall and on-wall installation configurations.

  • Output: supports up to 100 SDN device power units per segment.
  • Material: steel enclosure.
  • Maximum wiring distance: 4000′ per segment.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
