FlexShade Twin Pull

Product Description

A light-duty manual shade, the FlexShade Twin Pull provides all the benefits of bead chain operation in a child safe design. Twin pull wands (one on each side of the clutch) eliminate the continuous loop present in most clutch-operated shades. The clutch mechanism operates ratchet-style via the two pull wands to raise and lower the window shade. With bi-directional mounting, the pull wands can be mounted on either the right (standard) or the left end of roller. The extruded aluminum roller assembly is easily accessible for service.

Pull wands available in 20” or 40” (51 cm or 102 cm) length.

Pull wand clutch operator never needs adjusting.

Available with 1-1/2” (38 mm) mounting brackets only – no fascia or cassette options. Brackets do not require additional adapters.

Brackets available in white or black to match clutch color.

Includes Standard Hem Bar–sealed end with 1" (25 mm) aluminum elliptical slat inside of a 1-5/8" (41 mm) pocket.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1 Compliance

If clutch-operated roller shades are installed in an environment where it's possible that young children will be present, they should comply with ANSI/WCMA A100.1, the Standard for Safety of Window Coverings.

If the shades that you purchase need to comply with this standard, it is your responsibility to inform Draper and opt-in to receive compliant products at time of order.

Compliant window shades will include:

Pre-installed spring-loaded chain tension device with bead chain threaded through it
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included

If the tension device is not installed properly, or becomes unattached from the mounting surface, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain. The tension device and label require tools to be removed.
