LightBloc ZIP

Product Description

The zip feature in the LightBloc ZIP window shade prevents the fabric from coming out of the side channels, thus providing complete blackout for labs, educational facilities, hospitals, and audio visual applications. LightBloc ZIP allows for larger shade sizes and ease-of-installation.

Available in sizes through 12' x 12' (366 cm x 366 cm), depending on fabric selection.

No light gap at side channels for complete blackout system.

Side channel width is only 1-3/4" (44 mm).

Side guides can be jamb or face mounted.

Hardware finish choices: clear anodized (standard), black, white, ivory, or charcoal bronze. Custom powder coat colors available.

Square headbox available: small is 3-3/8” x 3-15/16” (86 mm x 86 mm), large is 4-11/16” x 4-11/16” (119 mm x 119 mm).

Crank operated option-handle can be permanently mounted (standard) or detachable; up to 6’ (183 cm) in length.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1 Compliance

If clutch-operated roller shades are installed in an environment where it's possible that young children will be present, they should comply with ANSI/WCMA A100.1, the Standard for Safety of Window Coverings.

If the shades that you purchase need to comply with this standard, it is your responsibility to inform Draper and opt-in to receive compliant products at time of order.

Compliant window shades will include:

Pre-installed spring-loaded chain tension device with bead chain threaded through it
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included

If the tension device is not installed properly, or becomes unattached from the mounting surface, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain. The tension device and label require tools to be removed.
