Horizontal extension constructed of a heavy-walled galvanized tube and a vertical post fitting, the Straight Style Basketball Post Set features a 5-9/16” (141 mm) OD straight post with 6' (1.83 m) extension. Extension can be installed from 0' to 10' (0-3.05 m) above court level. The backboard and goal bolt directly to the post forming a solid unit. This eliminates strain on the backboard, if a player hangs on the goal, by transferring the load to the heavy-duty steel post. Post is capped for protection from weather.
