Curtain Lok Gym Divider Curtain Safety Device utilizes speed sensitive technology. It mounts directly to the drive shaft and automatically locks the drive shaft whenever the speed exceeds approximately 1.5’ (46 cm) per second preventing the curtain from falling. The locking mechanism is fail-safe, any sticking, jamming, or breakage of any of the components of the arresting mechanism results in immediate, positive locking of the drive shaft. It is a self-checking mechanism that ensures the shaft is traveling at a safe speed. The unit incorporates a fully automatic reset when equipment is repaired, and load removed. It requires no poles, ropes, levers, or buttons to be used for rest.
