Overhead Volleyball System

Overhead Volleyball System (OVS) provides ceiling storage with the net, antennas, and pads attached for fast, efficient volleyball setup.

The Overhead Volleyball System stores at the ceiling with the net, antennas, boundary markers, and pads attached to support fast game setup and efficient space use. The system attaches to the roof structure using high-strength tubing and clamps also used on Draper backstops to provide a rigid superstructure. A powered lift system using high strength aircraft cable and integrated safety straps allows the system to be lowered smoothly and securely for play, where adjustable stabilization feet protect the gym floor while providing stable posts and maximum net tension. Each vertical mast includes an adjustable volleyball post with a screw rod style height adjustment mechanism, allowing net height to be set to all competition standards.

Product Specs

  • Includes 4” (102 mm) OD trussed vertical mast tubes that pivot on 1-1/4” (32 mm) solid steel shafts welded to the top tube and secured in ½” (13 mm) thick steel adjustable hangers.
  • System is raised and lowered by a ¼″ (6.35 mm) aircraft cable with a certified minimum breaking strength of 7,000 lb (3178 kg), operating over aluminum alloy sheaves with self‑lubricating bronze bearings, and powered by a UL-listed ¾ HP electric winch with Aut-O-Loc 2 safety straps.
  • One post features a self-locking worm gear winch with a folding handle for player safety during net tensioning.
  • Includes knotless nylon net and a pair of combination antenna/boundary markers.
  • Upright protective pads included; dark blue standard, additional colors available.
  • Optional Judges Stand available to support regulation competition play.
  • Support frame, folding braces, and overhead super-structure come with a black or white powder coat finish. Optional colors are available.
