Retractable Shading System Extends Across Large Areas of Glazing

Designed for interior or exterior use, TopSpin shading system is made up of a series of retractable fabric panels. This system features no visible cables and provides coverage for large areas of glazing. As a sun shade, TopSpin allows for view through to the exterior and controlled daylighting for a more comfortable indoor environment. This lightweight product features spring roller support every 3’ to 5’ (91-152 cm), which install with brackets that offset product from mounting structure. The system can be installed on a horizontal, sloped, vertical, curved glazing, or on surfaces that slope in two directions.

System widths available up to 10’ 4” (315 cm) and can be coupled.

System lengths available up to 42’ 6” (1,300 cm) and can be longer depending on the application.

Available in four hardware colors: RAL 7016, 9001, 9010, and 9006. Custom colors available for an additional charge.

Radius can be as tight as 3' (91 cm) for curved glazing.

Fabric panels installed onto spring loaded roller tubes at regular intervals for fabric support.

Easily place stack outside window area on roof.

Exterior rated mesh fabrics utilized.

System can withstand wind speeds up to 38 mph (61 kph).

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
