FlexShade XL

Largest Cassette-Style FlexShade for Sizes up to 25 feet wide

The FlexShade XL window shade features our largest cassette-style FlexShade, measuring 5" (13 cm) in height. An enhanced 127 headbox that utilizes an integrated cradle support system allows for wider shade widths while minimizing deflection. FlexShade XL is powered by an RTS Radio Technology Somfy motor as standard for wireless remote control.

Available in sizes from 13' to 25' (396 cm to 762 cm) wide, depending on fabric selection. Larger sizes available with Colossal FlexShade.

Utilizes 5” h (127 mm) ZIP 127 headbox.

Two headbox styles: angled and curved.

Hardware finish choices: clear anodized (standard), black, white, ivory, or charcoal bronze. Custom powder coat colors available.

Secure moisture resistant connection to line voltage using M12 Connector or Plug & Play option using three-prong NEMA plug.

Optional sun sensor or timer with on-screen display.

Optional App control is available.

Wireless wall switches available in 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 channels. Handheld remotes are available in 1, 4, or 16 channels.

Serial and dry contact interfaces available.

Product designed for interior use.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
