Ceiling-Recessed Projection Screens

These screens are installed into a pocket or recess in the ceiling and include a trim flange for a finished appearance. Ceiling recessed screens can be either motorized or manually operated.

Access

Installation of the case during the initial phase of construction eliminates job site damage, allowing for installation or replacement of the screen at a later time.

Smaller case dimensions allow for installation in tight spaces: 5-11/16” h x 6-7/16” d (14 cm x 16 cm), includes trim flange.

Ultimate Access

Offers ultimate concealment: a closure panel is opened by a second motor when the screen descends.

Surface Mounted on Wall or Ceiling

These screens are installed onto the surface of a wall or ceiling. Surface mounted screens can be either motorized or manually operated.

Maximum versatility. Acumen addresses virtually any projection environment or room design.

Fixed Projection Screens

These screens are mounted to a wall or vertical structure.

StyleLine

Max standard size up to 12' (366 cm) wide. Larger sizes available by quote.
The full line of Draper viewing surfaces are available, including 8K-ready TecVision premium viewing surfaces.
Three bezel options: Fine (5/8" / 16mm), Bold (3-3/16" / 81mm), or Borderless.
Find and Bold bezel options include VelTex, a velvety textile that eliminates light reflections from projector overscan.
Includes 1/2" (13 mm) channel on the back to attach LED backlighting (by others).
Can be wall-mounted or flown.

These screens stand on their own legs, and are portable by design.

StageScreen

Modular frame construction: all available sizes of StageScreen utilize a combination of six interchangeable color-coded frame section lengths.
8” (20 cm) truss design makes it significantly stronger than traditional truss folding screens.
DuraLoop bungee system allows quick, easy attachment of the viewing surface.
Can be flown, or stands on its own with legs. Dress it up using Inherently Flame Retardant dress kits.
Sizes up to 120' wide (37 m).

Ultimate Folding Screen

Withstands the rigors of repeated set up and tear downs in demanding applications.
Features a lock-and-load latch that provides an extremely rigid frame.
The resilient latch retention spring is captured and constantly flexed to prevent the screen from dislodging.
Anodized aluminum tubing provides stability for larger projection screen sizes.
Sizes up to 192" (488 cm) wide.

Traveller

Lightweight, portable projection screen offers a clean, simple design.
Viewing area features 42" of black rise below image area.
The infinitely adjustable telescoping mast locks with a twist to position the screen at the desired height.
The durable, self-contained, extruded aluminum case with a black powder coat finish and built-in carrying handle provides easy transport.
Available with optional padded carrying case.
Sizes up to 60" h x 80" wide (152 x 203 cm).

Traveller

Flown Projection Screens and Solutions

These screens are designed to be flown or suspended from above. In addition to screens, the agile Acrobat motorized lift is available to facilitate flying screens and more.

Additional Draper projection screens not shown on this page can be used in flown applications. Please contact your sales representative to discuss your specific needs.

Ropewalker

Ropewalker conceals a projection screen and lift mechanism in one ceiling-recessed box.
Eliminates the need for excessive black drop between the screen and tall ceilings.
Ropewalker lowers the inner case and viewing surface on stainless steel aircraft cables.
Ideal for ballrooms, gymnasiums, houses of worship, and other large venues.
The viewing surface is available in both tab-tensioned and free-hanging.
Safety cables with cable arresters are included that connect the inner and outer cases.
Image sizes up to 18' x 18' (548 x 548 cm), and travel range up to 34'(10 m).

What control system do you prefer? Rather than develop a proprietary automation system, we make sure our products can be used with any third party control system, including Control4 and Crestron.

Draper also provides a wide range of standalone control solutions for our motorized projection screens. Motors and Control options vary by screen model and compatible controls can be viewed on each projection screen model page.
