Access FIT V

Exc!te Award Best of Show

Several years ago, Draper introduced the Access line of projection screens as a breakthrough in screen design. It was born out of input from our customers.

Today the Access has been redesigned, again based on customer input. The improvements make the Access even easier to install. First, we have repackaged as many sizes as possible into a compact housing, less than 6" tall. Access FIT utilizes the same rugged components as larger Access screens, with a smaller footprint. It is engineered to fit into tight openings above the ceiling--places where you thought the screen would have to be exposed. Access FIT/Series V offers screen sizes through 104" wide. The Access FIT/Series V is a motorized screen for ceiling–recessed installation.

Case Now, Screen Later

You can install the case during the “dirty” phase of the construction process and keep the screen safe until you install the projector. The screen (motor-in-roller and attached viewing surface) installs in seconds with preset latching roller brackets and electrical pin connectors. This eliminates job site damage. Screens may be installed in cases up to 20" wider than the standard case lengths.

An Access case can be ordered and installed prior to final selection of size, type and format. If ordering a case in advance of the screen, the price of the case will be deducted when the screen is ordered. Specify case length at time of order.

Some optional controls, including LVC-IV may be built into the case. If you want built-in Low Voltage Motor, Quiet Motor or control options you must specify when ordering to assure compatibility with your screen.

Access V

Several years ago, Draper introduced the Access line of projection screens as a breakthrough in screen design. The concept was born out of input from our customers, and the Access is one of our most popular products.

Today the Access has been redesigned, again based on customer input. The improvements make better use of the limited space above the ceiling, and make the Access even easier to install.

The Access/Series V is a motorized tab tensioned screen for ceiling-recessed installation. It is now available in larger sizes--through 16' wide--which formerly required the larger Access XL. Smaller sizes, through 10' wide, have been repackaged into a compact housing, less than 6" tall, and are now known as Access FIT. (Check Related Products below for links to the Access FIT and Access XL).

Ultimate Access V

Access Concept: Install case now, screen later. Easy Installation, Easy Access!

A DRAPER innovation, the essence of the ACCESS concept is a ceiling recessed, folded steel headbox designed to be installed during construction. The screen itself (viewing surface attached to a roller) can either be furnished with the headbox or at any time thereafter.

The ACCESS Series is DRAPER’S thoughtful solution to the problems that have plagued projection screen specifiers for years. Incorrect size of screen or aspect ratio, choice of surface and job site damage during construction—all can be avoided with the ACCESS. The screen itself installs in minutes, and the only tool you need is a hex key.

The Ultimate Access/Series V

the Ultimate Access/Series V is an electric ceiling-recessed projection screen with a tab-tensioning system that holds the surface taut for better image quality. It also has an independently motorized ceiling closure. In its closed position, the motorized closure forms a solid bottom panel giving the ceiling a clean appearance. At the touch of a switch or wireless transmitter, the door of the Ultimate Access/Series V opens into the case before the viewing surface descends into the room. Your audience will be impressed by its precision timing and quiet, fluid movement. Finally, the entire closure extends down as required for screen installation or adjustment.
