Motorized Shade Control Selection Tool

 

This selection program is designed to help direct you to the right controls for your motorized shades. The program will not specify the quantity of controls or all accessory items needed, but it will help guide you.

Motorized shades with
External controls (controls wired outside of the motor, e.g. IntelliFlex controls, etc.)
Internal controls (motors with built-in controls, e.g. RTS motors, ILT motors, etc.)

Motorized shades with external controls:
Please select from the following IntelliFlex controls.
Operate the shades as a group with no preset stopping locations from a toggle or key switch.
Operate the shades as a group with no preset stopping locations from a low voltage switching sources, (A/V system, remote, sensor, etc.).
Operate the shades as a group or individually with preset stopping locations.
Motorized shades with internal controls:
Please select from the following internal control options.
High voltage motors
Low voltage motors
Battery powered motors

High voltage toggle or key switch only:
Place the external controller in a J-Box near the motor when installing
Place the external controller in a box with 3 other relays to control up to 4 motors at once
Shades operated as a group or individually with presets
Place the external controller in a deep J-Box near a motor when installing
Place the external controller in a box with 3 other relays to control up to 4 motors
High voltage motors with built-in controls
Control a small room or group of motors with RF remotes, wall switches or interfaces
Control a building full of motors from a central location with the option of local switches and interfaces
Low voltage motors with built-in controls
Control a small room or group of low voltage motor with RF remotes, wall switches, or interfaces
Controls a single shade from dry contacts
Control a number of low voltage motors from RS 485 with the option for local or virtual switches
