Why would you choose a manual screen?
If you're building a home theatre on a budget, a manual screen will be the least expensive screen to purchase and the easiest to install. No electricity required—but no interface with your home automation system either.

Now, let's explain what we mean by "Non-tensioned"
Sometimes referred to as free hanging or conventional: The reflective surface is laminated to a woven textile base.  The screen surface hangs suitably flat because of the stability of the material and the weight of the bottom dowel.

Now, you need to decide...
if you want your home theatre screen to be wall/ceiling mounted or ceiling-recessed (hidden).
When you click on the screen name, a new window will open that will give you complete details, including surface choices on that screen.
