Draper Supports Green Building Projects Worldwide
In today's environmentally conscious world Draper takes it's responsibilities as a leader in Green awareness very seriously. This portion of our web site is dedicated to showing how our products support green building projects. We want to give you the information and resources you need to make informed decisions, whether you are a builder, a specifier or an end user.
Draper's Audio Visual products can significantly impact the environment. Combining daylighting techniques using solar control and projection screens with GreenGuard certified fabrics to strategically conserve energy can contribute to the overall energy savings in today's building plans.
Draper, Inc. is a leader in the world of “Green” technology for Window Coverings. We also incorporate green practices in our manufacturing, product design, and office operations, (read more in our corporate story of green). Draper shades can also directly affect LEED credits. For more information on how draper shades can affect LEED points please visit our Solar Control page.
Draper is the first manufacturer of Gym Equipment to attain a GreenGuard Children and Schools certification. The certification applies to our wall pads and gym divider curtain, but another eco-friendly process is our powder coating. Using an environmentally friendly powder coating, saving time and costs in installation and adding to durability of our backstops all add up to advantages for both the contractor and end user of our products. Find out more about our "Green" efforts and Gym Equipment by going to the gym section of this site.
